Born in Stockholm to a family of jazz musicians, Stina’s interest in art emerged early on when she started at the Dance Academy and the Stockholm Conservatory aged just 4 years old. After being awarded multiple scholarships, at 17 years old, she started working as an illustrator for various magazines and music labels, while studying graphic design in Stockholm.
Stina then moved to Sydney where she won a scholarship at the prestigious Award School and started to collaborate with advertising agencies. Having completed her degree, she worked with some of Australia's most important fashion magazines.
During this time, she was called to work as art director at Harper Bazaar Australia where she stayed for 4 years before moving to Paris where she began collaborations with H&M, Esprit, Le Bon Marché, Roger Vivier and Jérôme Dreyfuss as well as magazines such as Libération, i-D and Vogue Russia.
Stina works with some of today's most established photographers including Terry Richardson, Alastair McLellan, Camilla Akrans, Josh Olins, Benny Horne and Kacper Kasprzyk. Her style is fresh, contemporary and dynamic; she is always able to interpret the client’s needs and has a very unique and clear-sighted vision. In 2009, she founded her own creative studio: Daag Studio.
Stina lives and works between Paris and Stockholm.
